They tell you that it's an automatic payment and they can stop it but need your account or bank details and often ask you to install software on your phone or PC to allow them to help you cancel the subscription and bobs your auntie they have access to your finances.

It was highlighted on rip of Britain recently ! ..

Just put the phone down when they start the recorded message

Bob, my parents keep getting these calls. Their Ages are 92 and 91. They don't know what Amazon is. Don't have internet, mobile phones or anything to do with this century. It therefore can't be an inside job. Just scumbags randomly calling people with the hope that they may "strike lucky".

Yes I'm always getting them they stop for a while then start again it's a recorded message

I don't have Amazon prime, and avoid shopping there as I prefer to support our shops hate the way they seem to be taking over I miss all the music shops for my CDs but searching online can find them

Offering free mince pies until they run out.. So very sad to hear about Romeo Jones… been a customer since the opening, any idea where Patrick has gone or details… please pm me.    What is going to be in its place…. Will be around in Jan…umm village is changing….

    • Just be careful to know exactly what they cover and the limits. i use Many Pets and Medivet, as I think one of the vets is exceptionally good. Some of the NHV are, but I’ve had a couple I’ve not liked at all.  I need consistency and to feel that they actually care more about the animals than the money.
    • I haven't used them myself but I noticed recently that "Snoots" in Forest Hill is going unlimited primary care for £33/month, so basically a subscription. Easy access on the 176 from East Dulwich. I have no idea what it includes so read the contract! It's a chain but only 5 branches so not a mega corporate. 🤷‍♂️ https://www.snootsvet.com/find-us
