Charloutte
Hi,We recently have removed our privacy window film on our bay window and the glue didn't come off. We bought a sticker remover liquid and tried to do it ourselves without success (or it would take us about a month).Anyone know someone who could help us with that?Thank you ! irg
Hi, we got a bottle of Sticky Stuff Remover from Lakeland and it's been amazingly effective. Have you tried this? Sue
Yes, I use Sticky Stuff remover to get labels and glue residue off jars. It's very effective.Failing that, you could contact the manufacturer of the window film and ask them? ianr
Whatever solvent, lubricant or softeners you're trying, I suspect a bladed scraper tool like this will be helpful https://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-window-scraper-3/56292. I think I've even seen versions in pound shops. There seems to be a fair amount of specific DIY advice around too: https://www.google.com/search?q=privacy+window+film+residue+remover.
