Does anyone have experience of water accumulators to increase water pressure / flow rates? My plumber is keen on this as a solution to our very weak flow rate (the alternative I believe being to get Thames water to provide a bigger pipe to the mains) and he talks about the benefits of including a water softener as part of this - but does it actually work / is it worthwhile?
