Single in East Dulwich

I've returned to London after 9 years away, and am happy to now call East Dulwich my home. Okay, so I knew that it was nappy valley area, but still reckon it's a good choice, particularly given that most of my friends seem to have moved to zone 6 and beyond!

My question is whether anyone has recommendations on things to do for singles here apart from sit in cafes all day? I'm sane professional, with a relaxed outlook on life. Are there any singles nights or similar, or particularly friendly places?

Wish could help with ideas for places to go but I live in Crystal Palace so sadly can't - good luck in finding places to go though. If you do venture CP'wards ever the downstairs bar at Numidie seems a good place to meet people.

(nb - ignore the usual smartarse comments you get on edf, at least you had the cojones to put your head over the parapet!)
