Caroline_S
I've just bought a new cot mattress ready for my second baby and I'm wondering what to do with the old one. It feels irresponsible to give it away when the safety advice is to always buy a new one for a new baby, but as it's in good condition it seems so wasteful just to throw it away. I wondered if anyone had any alternative ideas before I bin it? Thanks! Mrs TP
Depends how big it is but is it worth keeping for sleepovers when your children older or camping /picnics in the garden in nice weather. womanofdulwich
I think the new mattress is a relatively new piece of advice and lots of other people would be intersted in it. Maybe a womans refuge, or if you are handy then cover it and make a big cushion for outside?
