Hi Quick warning, Ive just come home, and scared off a guy trying to steal items out of my front garden. Unusually he was on a push bike with a cart attached and it had some items in it so looked like he had been cruising up and down looking for potential items. Please watch out for him. White male, closely shaven hair, push bike with cart attached. Thanks

I live on Landells Road, SE22 and yesterday someone clearly tried to steal our planter outside our front door. Luckily it weighs a tonne so they only managed to drag it a yard or so. But wanted to raise awareness in case they try to strike again.
This guy (white guy, bike with trailer - unmistakeable) was over in SE5 a month or so ago with a friend who was also on a bike. I caught him in my front garden helping himself to our (damaged and not in use) front gate, to add to the collected scrap on the trailer. Words were exchanged... and the gate left alone. I also mentioned them to the police.

    • From what I have gathered from Bradbury Oak residents  I have spoken with, that at a meeting with RNIB earlier in the year, none of the residents were in favour of new build. There is the implication that rent rises are anticipated to help towards building costs. Rent is currently in the region of £300 pw - as with most sheltered housing (council and Housing Association), Since these rents also include maintenance charges, utility charges - Housing Benefit is only applicable to the actual 'rent element' per flat.
    • At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.
    • Personally, I think the death sentance should be brought back for anyone found to be harming animals.
