Hi does anyone know if phenergan has to be prescribed for a 4 year old or if can just pick it up from the chemist?

Travelling soon to west wales and have bought a dvd player for the car - while it may make the journey easier i am also worried it will aggravate the mild travel sickness my daughter has (complains of feeling sick but never actually been sick).

thanks

Susypx

Edited to say if anyone has any alternatives I would be v interested to hear - as I realise it's an antihistamine - whenever my daughter has piriton she is tired for days so i would prefer to avoid anything with a sedative effect.

I've tried sea bands and they did work for us. My daughters and I all get car sick--my little one to the point of vomiting. It doesn't work for everyone though! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sea-Band-For-Children-Various-Colours/dp/B001CD6EMC/ref=sr_1_2?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1344286053&sr=1-2

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
