f you don't get paid bare P's to play music, but secretly want to....then this night is for you.


This is a last-minute.com open mic/decs sesh, for DJ's.


Instructions:


1. Pick out your favourite tunes (CDs/Records - 10 minimum).


2. Come down to the CLF art cafe/the Bussey building in THE place to be Peck-narm by *10:30pm*.


3. Pick a time slot.


4. Wait your turn whilst listening enthusiastically to others :)


5. Play some music really badly! Smiles are a must!


CLF residents DJ Bump n Grind & Chris Brown shall play a set/be on hand to help out.


Music policy: Anything goes.

If you are a well known DJ who gets paid handsomely for your services on a regs but secretly like playing venga boys then you can come along - as long as you are wearing a disguise. Ray bans, long trench coat, baller hat. No problem, I won't tell if you don't.

    • Fired Earth as a whole went into administration unfortunately - doesn't seem to have been a Dulwich problem specifically. Does anyone know how much the rent is for these Dulwich Village storefronts?
    • It is most likely gas, with what looks like a stop cock, and although the pipe may well have been isolated later from the supply you should get in a gas safe engineer to remove it. At worst it might need to be capped off beneath the floor boards. Don't interfere with it yourself. 
    • Sorry, I know this isn't strictly an East Dulwich topic but as there are so many late-Victorian properties in the area I wondered if anyone has seen anything similar in their house and can advise. We have what looks like an old gas outlet on the back wall of our daughter's bedroom which we'd like to remove, but we weren't sure whether it's safe to do so. Do I just call a registered gas engineer to check it out? And is it definitely a gas outlet or might it be something else? It's at floor level so maybe electricity but it doesn't look like any electricity outlet I've ever seen! Has anyone had any experience of dealing with something similar?
