Recommended Posts

If you're looking for your purrfectly local cat sitter, you're in luck!

I am currently available & already taking summer bookings {heads up for my lovely regulars! April filled fast}.

Professional, quality, personal, affordable & situated in the heart of East Dulwich The Wingless Bird is an exclusive cat sitting service which tailors to the individual needs of you & your cat. The Wingless Bird is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care, with 10 years of experience working alongside charity shelters, like The Celia Hammond Animal Trust, whilst maintaining the most competitive rates to date. Through an exceptional interest in working with timid, feral & cat colonies The Wingless Bird services can & have been particularly beneficial to those who have rescued &/or nervous cats & cats with a troubled history that may be finding it difficult to settle into their new home.

Whether you are on holiday, in hospital or suffering a disability, busy or away for lengthy periods of time, at home & need extra support... The Wingless Bird will provide the undivided care & attention that every cat needs.

Qualified in Feline First Aid Care & behaviour through the PDSA & icatcare.

Though highly demanded, The Wingless Bird has maintained a very modest & neighbourly approach to its services; remains exclusive to SE22 residence only & has no intentions of ever expanding itself into a platform for numerous cat sitters. I believe this to be a truly personal, least intrusive/most private & trustworthy approach.

The Wingless Bird provides the most competitive rates due to working within close proximity

{walking distance - I don't drive to my visits} & prides itself on a no hidden fees policy.

    • I've not engaged in this debate so far but you can't be more wrong. In the UK our own language is English, there is a small minority who can rightly claim their language is Welsh or Gaelic, and a couple Cornish. British Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, atheists etc will usually speak British, even if not their first language.  The vast majority will be able to understand English.   A small percentage, less than two percent, of people living in the UK have little or no English (census data).  It is right that in certain situations eg schools there is signage and information in other languages, providing public information. It is wrong that a political party do this, particularly one who came across as opportunist on this occasion. There is an interesting conversation about British expats living, for example, on the continent, where I expect huge swathes who can hardly say a word of French, Spanish etc.

    • Surely the biggest scandal under Blair's tenure was developments funded under the Private Finance Initiatives (PFIs) where funding came from the private sector at high rates of interest. Around £44 Bn was borrowed for projects which involved costly maintenance contracts for years into the future.
