Gardening course for beginners held in a lovely East Dulwich garden starting on Saturday 14 March. Monthly sessions, saturday mornings 10.30-12.30. 6 x 2hour sessions take you right through your first growing season. Learn how to achieve colour and interest all year round, rules for pruning, how to renovate mature plants and which new ones are best value. Also learn how to grow flowers and vegetables from seed. Costs ?195 for 6 sessions, includes free seeds, small plants, refreshments and homemade cake. The class is small - 6 - so plenty of time to ask questions about your own garden, balcony or window sill. It's a great way meet other local gardeners.   I noticed that these were sold out online. They have good reviews. For the last two days I’ve not heard any planes to speak of. But, previously, over the last month or so they were very, very noticeable.

  I do not know of any Pet Plan that covers the above. Ours covers illness/surgery/death and loss. Try ringing PDSA for advice or Cat Protection.

  Hi Brendan This advice is if some investment in your house is an option. We recently renewed the whole roof, and we added 15cm of insulation boards to the roof, above the rafters so no gaps. At the same time we fitted triple glazed windows and doors to the whole back of the house. It makes a huge difference, these planes also fly over us, but inside the house I rarely hear them at all.
