childminder needed - Ivydale Road, Nunhead

Recommended Posts

Hello

Our nursery has closed. In order to allow my and I to continue working (which we need to do, not least to pay the fees still being asked for at the nursery), we are looking for some childminder help, if possible. We live on Ivydale Road, Nunhead,, and would ideally want our 19 month old daughter to be collected from ours at roughly 09.30am and brought back at midday. Then again, collected from ours at 3pm again and returned at 5pm. We would supply our pram, toys, food and drink and, for as long as we are all allowed to venture outside safely, we would want you to walk her to a local park, swings, anything outdoors and safe, during those times. If advice changes or weather is bad, we have room downstairs. We would pay ?10 per hour cash (or, as agreed between us) and would be happy to be flexible on any help you can offer us, if you cant do thse exact times. We would be looking for this every morning and afternoon from Monday to Thursday inclusive, but happy for any help we can get and while we are allowed to receive any help like this. Looking to start immediately.

Please PM me if interested.

    • At the time of posting previously, we had no idea of the dates we would be having the children. The maths place - you pay for a course of lessons . The coding session would be good but you need to book well in advance. Also grandson has been doing coding since 6 years old. He now has a 'mentoring role' at his primary school as his knowledge of this subject is years above his chronological age. Dates are still up in the air as their father is trying to juggle leave from a new job in the north of the country.
    • why not have a pasty shop - we could have Cornish pasties, Jamaican patties, empanadas from all the different regions.... I like all three.  I'm still going to support the Chacarero family business, as I don't support chains, just as I don't buy anything from Gail's, Nero, Starbucks etc.
    • Thought it had been a fish and chip shop at one time?
    • Try Gentrification, those with more money than sense who constantly want something different, when pie and mash isn't good enough for them.  "Argentinian Cornish pasties" give3 me a proper Cornish pastie any day of the week, at least I'd be supporting something traditionally British.   ps. tin hat at the ready........................🤣
