MKK in Nunhead closed to be replaced by Coop Food

MKK in Nunhead has now closed down, my understanding is that Coop Food are to take over the site (four shop fronts) and open a new Coop on the site. Whilst this may potentially be good for the community having a national retailer there, my fear is the impact this will have on the long established local businesses.

Yes that is their objective, to delete corner shop independents, making community dependent on them.

Weird thing is, a lot of the time they don?t even compete with local Cornershop prices !
