Advice on a travel cot please

What is a good comfy travel cot that won't cost me the earth but is easy to put up and down? I hear horror stories of travel cots being thrown out the door still up as they are so difficult to undo!

When I go back to work my SIL is looking after my son two days a week (other three he will be in nursery) and and she has a daughter who luckily literally sleeps anywhere but I said I'd get a travel cot for her..

I have a graco one and it's fine.

You could always buy a second hand one and then buy a comfy cot mattress to go in it. As you aren't transporting the cot around it won't be a problem to have a bulky proper mattress.

we have the Graco one too, we use two normal cot fitted sheets, never bought a mattress for it. Going strong at 2 and a half. Never had a problem putting it up or down. My mum, who is 75 and not the fittest, also has one and has never had a problem.

I third Graco cots - we have a well-loved second hand one that is still going strong for our second baby. They're relatively easy (esp compared to Mothercare brand) to put down, as long as you remember to raise the centre first!
