swagstar
Hello everyoneI am taking my daughter abroad for the first time in about 3 weeks and I am getting her a passport (yes, I've left it a bit late!). I need to get her a photo done but wondered if anyone had any advice on a)where to go in ED and b)any tips on how to get her to sit still when I take her. Huge thanks in advance xx Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25158-baby-passport-photos/ Share on other sites
Strawbs
I used shot by the Sherriff on northcross and they were great. ?15, get a guaranteed pic and a keying picture.. My son is a wriggler and they popped him in a bumbo and distracted him perfectly to get the shot. In and out in less than 15 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25158-baby-passport-photos/#findComment-569761 Share on other sites
JBoylen
I second Shot by the Sherriff, we had our daughters passport photo done very early and they were great with her! We are American and they took extra time to make sure the photo size and specifications were accurate for our passport. We have had great experiences with their photography ever since as well! midivydale
I would highly recommend the place next to the old soupdragon on lordship lane. I cant remember what it is called but fantastic. Took my son at 10 weeks old, no appointment, 2min job, ?6, AND lovely photos! eva_ben
Well I don't know if you've time for this but I got my baby's photo done by putting her in her cot with a cream bed sheet and taking a photo looking down at her. I'm very pleased with it and I think it's better than a lot of other babies' photos I've seen. I got it printed at photobox.co.uk . They have a passport photos template. Even with postage it works out cheaper than other places (and you can get some general photos printed cheaply at the same time with the same postage) and you can be sure to get a good passport photo. They also do next day delivery. Obviously you need to make sure you follow the guidelines for how the passport shots should be framed etc (these are also provided by photobox if you can't find online). RuthN
We used paspics.com which is similar to photobox but paspics guarantee it will meet the passport guidelines and will email you if the photo is unacceptable, then you can just upload another photo. hellosailor
shot by the sheriff charge ?15 and both times I asked if I could come in for a baby passport photo pic they said I would have to wait several days for an appointment as they are v busythe place next to Soup Dragaon (or where soup dragon used to be!) charges ?6 for the same service and do it there an then while you wait, I'd try there first!
