Thank you

His name is Jack and he likes peanuts. He may not be friendly to strangers so if anyone does see him it?ll be better off letting me get him.

I just spoke to my mum she told me his wings were never clipped and she saw him actually take off into the trees so I don?t think he?ll be found stuck in someone?s garden. He probably ran off to chase the wild parrots in the area. Maybe he?ll come back but at least I have the comfort of knowing he can fly away from any predators

Thank you I hope if he does get spotted he?ll want to come back 😅

You need to go out calling before it gets light in the morning. If there are lots of trees nearby he will stay locally. Also register him lost on www.parrotalert.com and also on the Facebook pages Lost and Found parrots and also the parrot society https://theparrotsocietyuk.org/site/index.php/parrot-information/lost-and-found-parrots/

Good luck with finding your parrot.

    • I've not engaged in this debate so far but you can't be more wrong. In the UK our own language is English, there is a small minority who can rightly claim their language is Welsh or Gaelic, and a couple Cornish. British Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, atheists etc will usually speak British, even if not their first language.  The vast majority will be able to understand English.   A small percentage, less than two percent, of people living in the UK have little or no English (census data).  It is right that in certain situations eg schools there is signage and information in other languages, providing public information. It is wrong that a political party do this, particularly one who came across as opportunist on this occasion. There is an interesting conversation about British expats living, for example, on the continent, where I expect huge swathes who can hardly say a word of French, Spanish etc.
