Hello there,

Hope you?re alright. Just wanna inquire regarding the room. I?m 36 y.o. single male, nurse by profession and works at Kings. My current household is splitting up after 6 years of living together. I?m filipino, on a permanent resident visa. I consider east dulwich as my local area even if I actually live in Denmark hill estates just behind the village football grounds. I work shifts as of the moment but is hoping to look for a post with more regular hours. I think that?s about it. Would love to see photos of the property if that?s possible.

Kind regards,

Ryan

Hi Becki,

I was also wondering if this space is still available. I am an actor and gallery assistant by trade, and I would love to move back to the East Dulwich area.

I'm happy to arrange a video call if you would like.

Best wishes,

Simon

    • Its almost the same as Grove Vale School , now Goose Green School.
    • They used to have dedicated park wardens, who I'm sure used to look after the parks and locked and opened the gates. Years ago I knew someone who was one. I thought they were based in that hut by the toilets. Are they not there any more? The community wardens are attached to the police rather than a specific park, aren't they?
    • Yes, sad how Rye Lane has taken a dive, interesting to see those pics CPR Dave. It's shocking how the section between Choumert Road and the Nag's Head in particular has lost its vibrancy, meanwhile the next section to the top of Peckham Rye Common has gentrified. Wonder why such a distinction in fortunes? Anyway the station square plans have fallen behind yet again, demolition won't now start this summer. The only "work" that will now take place this summer is surveying of the arcade, which they've had 10 years since planning permission to do. At least the replacement TSB branch has progressed but the Blenheim Grove corner building still looks unfinished, despite claims it "is now complete". https://www.southwark.gov.uk/planning-environment-and-building-control/current-and-future-development/peckham-and-nunhead-2
    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
