Hi - I am thinking about setting up a website, aimed at parents - similar to the forum but less of a place for discussion and more where you can find business details quickly when you need them (eventually having reviews etc.).

Any ideas and suggestions welcome, plus if anyone would like their details posted on the site please let me know and I will let you have the site details.

This won't be direct competition for the forum (which I think is great!) as it will be more focused on childcare and other services available locally as well as info for new parents or parents to be.

Thanks everyone (and thanks forum!!)

Thanks Kim :) 488 hits yesterday so seems a popular idea - anyone willing to write a short article for my site please get in touch! Ideas include book reviews, poetry, personal experience of trying to conceive, being pregnant, having a baby and juggling work, and anything you think other women (and men) would like to read about really.

Look forward to hearing from you!

    • Maggie Browning a DH councillor recently had a baby and I believe plans to return to work. I think that to have the additional stress of  being a councillor, a new mother and having a job is a good reason for not standing again. Maggie was one of the few labour councillors who were approachable, acted on your behalf in regards to several concerns and appeared at various public events i.e Police SNT Meetings, community events etc. Have met one of the new prospective councillors and introduced her to various community based organisations.
    • Hello, I’m currently looking to buy Jellycat soft toys and LEGO sets for my children. If you have any available for sale, please feel free to message me. Thank you!
    • Useful link, thanks. I see that neither of the Dulwich Hill councillors are standing again but one of the new Labour candidates for DH recently left the Lib Dems… The Greens are led by someone who left the Lib Dems and full of people who left Labour. Reform is full of those who left the Tories. And the Tories are full of those who left our planet some time ago. Confused? You will be!
