Hello all, My two half year old daughter is due to start nursery at our local school in November but I was looking for something between now and then for 3 days a week even just half day to get her use to being without parents. I wondered if anyone had any ideas etc or was a childminder that would take her 3 days a week half day.Ideally in and around Brixton. Looking forward to hearing from someone.

Hi, it may be too confusing if she spends time away from you with someone else and you then move her. How about she spends time with a friend at the friends house, stays the morning and has lunch and you pick her up after lunch? Then shell get used to you coming back etc. Do you have a contact list for the nursery, maybe meet up with others going so she will know people when it's time to go to nursery.

Regards

Sarah

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
