Incident on Grove Vale 1/9/12

Hello,

Does anybody know what brought the ambulances, police and then forensics to the front of the bus stop/newsagent/Shauns DIY to Grove Vale on Saturday evening/night? (September 1st)

Being still fairly new to the area I am not aware if there's a place to find out these types of things and living right next to this I'm curious to know what may have happened.

I went past in a taxi at 8:30 and saw paramedics attending to someone on the ground. At 11:30 the area was taped off.
