Meet Bernard is back for good!

Recommended Posts

Hullo good people of East Dulwich...

We just wanted let you all know that we've signed a new lease on the shop on North Cross Road and that we're going to be here for a while.

We had such a good reaction to us being here and met so many fantastic people with encouraging words about what we're doing that we decided to stay!

We've now also brought across our women's wear from Greenwich so we'll now have a selection for him and her.

However, the plan is to expand and develop the site to maximise the area and to present in a new, fresh, modern way.

More on that to come later though.

For now, we're delighted to say that our doors are fully open with new hygiene protocols in place to protect you and us.

Take care, stay safe and we'll see you soon hopefully!

Ryan & Daniela

Had been planning to do all my Xmas shopping locally this week with the time I?d booked off work, but alas Tier 4!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the fantastic service of ?Meet Bernard?; ordered a present online yesterday (items are shot beautifully and website easy to navigate) and was expecting to collect in store and instead my purchase was hand delivered to my address this evening! Couldn?t recommend more highly.

    • and when it's such a small increase, it doesn't really matter, does it.
    • I’m not trying to say anything.  I’m explicitly citing the example of the party with most to gain by saying “councils waste money.  We will go in and bust that whole nonsense up!” Only to go in and go whoops. We need more money not less ive deliberately posted a link to a sympathetic (to them) news outlet specifically so no one can go “well the guardian would say that”   why try and hypothesise?
    • Marveling at the chutzpah of Brexit supporters wanging on about a 4.99% increase in council tax which equates to circa £94/year for the average Band D, whereas it's conservatively estimated* that Brexit has cost each UK household circa £1k/year.  At least with council tax there are actual tangible benefits e.g. weekly waste clearance.  *Based on BoE report 2023...
    • so to summarise, "Party X is stating that Council Y is financially inefficient and saving can be realised or efficiencies made, but when the exercise has been completed, it was found that no savings were achievable". I don't know if you are trying to say that has happened or that if it does happen, that is what would happen.
