Wanted - Excellent local landscape gardener to fit artifical grass

Hi

I want to do a small project in my garden in the centre of East Dulwich.

There is an area at the rear of our small yard that is mainly pebbled measuring approx 6 metres x 2 metres. I would like to replace this with artificial grass. I would also like the remaining paving slabs pressure washed if possible.

I have already had 2 quotes - 1 direct from Easigrass which was extortionate and another from an independent chap who was cheap but seemed very unprofessional.

I would like an experienced local person who will do a good job for a good price. I will provide the artificial grass and weed membrane, but will need the contractor to provid everything else necessary to complete the job.

Please do get in touch if you can help.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark

We have done quite a few artificial lawns this year. A few notes. They are not for families with young children & no shade, they get very hot ! They are pretty un ecological & toxic , but fine if you have no choice. They are more expensive than natural lawns, mainly because they have to be dug out to 3? deep ,framed & filled out with ballast/ type one & topped with soft sand for a perfect finish. Happy to give you a free quote. Let me know which turf you use as all our work is guaranteed.

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
