Recommended Posts

On this day 7th July 2020 a wonderful thing happened at Nunhead Station - to whoever left a collection of books in the Metro Newspaper pick up point holders - I congratulate you for what must have been a spontaneous gesture of selfless generosity - so simple so brilliant so inspired - did you 'oh should I get official permission from Network Rail?' no!

Sometimes in life we just need to 'JFDI' Just f**king do it.

My thanks to local resident Kevin who took these photos and grabbed a few items that I had supplied to add to the free library.

SHOUT OUT: The old drawer which I grabbed from the loft is a bit 'stop gap' if anyone can spare some sort of 'bookshelf' please private msge/add comment.

BOOKS - CD's DVD's if you have any spare PLEASE drop them off at the free collection point on Nunhead Station.

This is what pro active spontaneous inclusive COMMUNITY action is all about - let's start a revolution - with FREE books!

Please do consider using a trusted & reliable cat sitting company. We are always happy to help  https://www.thewinglessbird.com/ [email protected]
    • Vance seems to be  as bad as Trump. If Trump is assassinated, wouldn't Vance just step up to be president? Or doesn't it work like that?
    • I doubt it was the ice cream.   Lots of winter bugs around.   Noro virus is around ATM and it can have a sudden onset.   It is horrible to see little ones being ill but hopefully it will pass soon.   Call 111 if you are concerned.
