LondonLogCo
HmmmmmIt's the ammonia in the latex that you're smelling. It's an essential component of vinyl based emulsin type paints.Funnily enough try using acrylic base in the future . Johnsons do a rangeTry Whites of Brockley as a supplier Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25738-bad-smell-from-emulsion-paint/#findComment-578531 Share on other sites
LondonLogCo
OrIs the Emulsion quite old & has been thinned with water in the past ?If so, the paint degrades and produces "rotten egg" type odour( I'm a paint nerd btw ) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/25738-bad-smell-from-emulsion-paint/#findComment-578532 Share on other sites
