Since downloading ios6.0 on ipad some apps have disappeared! Help!

Recommended Posts

I am absolutely rubbish with computers so I might just be being a numpty but yesterday my iPad came up with some sort of update which I just agreed to - turns out its the ios6.0 update. Since it installed itself I seem to have lost my YouTube application icon and when i go to install it again, it brings me up with so many different variations, but none that look like the original, bog standard YouTube app. Any ideas how I can get it back? Also, I don't suppose there is a way of uninstalling an update once you've accepted it? Thanks for any help.

There won't be an iOS6 YouTube app available for several months on the iPad, although there is an iPhone one already available.

As a replacement for the iPad, try Squrl, ShowYou or Vidyou which all provide access to YouTube content.

Apple don't support rollback, and since major upgrades make firmware upgrades to tech drivers it's going to be a very unpleasant experience. I wouldn't try it myself.

Siri: "Checking that for you L. Peeb." (processing...)
