recommendation for outside dining not too far away

looking for somewhere lovely to have a special birthday meal ,a beautiful outdoor terrace . Don't want to drive more than about 20 mins .

I'm sure no one else in current times will be wanting to sit outside in a peaceful countryside/like setting . Joke .

Anyone any ideas ?

Don't suppose Bel Air is doing meals on their terraces ?

i really enjoyed a meal outside at peckham bazaar recently

it's not countryside-like but there are plenty of plants and canopies that separate the dining space from the outside world so it's easy to forget how close you are to home

Chapter One restaurant near Orpington is really good, certainly a "special occasion" type of place, and they have some outdoor tables. Probably a half hour drive. You won't really find a countryside-like vibe much close to home... unless you count the Fox on the Hill...

Forza wine in Peckham has a nice rooftop terrace, and good food/wine.

Dulwich Wood Tavern us a nice setting, though I've not eaten out there for a while.
