Good vet in South London area

We love the Neighbourhood vet on Lordship lane SE22 https://theneighbourhoodvet.co.uk/galleries/east-dulwich/ - they have been fantastic with our cats - very caring and they always find time for urgent appointments at very short notice. I'll send you more details in a PM but wanted to share that with others too.

I've recently registered my animals (yesterday) at the Norwood Road surgery and it was really straightforward.

I've always taken them up to the Lordship Lane pets surgery (for 15 years) opposite the old Harvesters. Unfortunately and due to the closure of the Dulwich Village junction with the plant pots, I can't chance my animals being put through any added stress as the journey now takes double the time.

Plus one for Neighbourhood Vet on LL.

Lovely team (esp reception) and very good with both our cats (one of which is super nervy). Some people have mentioned unexpected costs/treatment there but I?ve never had an issue. I normally see the male Antipodean vet there (and now embarrassed I don?t know his name, but maybe Sean?) but he gave me great advice about teeth cleaning techniques for the same nervy cat a few years ago, which has saved me ??? in the long run.

    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
    • Love Dulwich is great but has a large step in front. We have only been weekdays at Lunch time. Maria's next to Picture House is disabled friendly. Also can reserve table in advance. We did a Sunday lunch catch up with family - there were 8 of us.
    • Hi, Thinking about  going with some friends and was just wondering if folk might like to report back please. Most importantly sound level when busy & is it disabled friendly.  Thinking on a Sunday lunchtime but don’t want a busy busy environment or loud chatter - a couple of friends could not cope. Time can be flexible, if that helps - say 2 ish to avoid above.. Thanks…
