I haven't found any that I'm thrilled by but oriental culture [7701 1818] on denmark hill are friendly and reasonable and the foods fine and I'm sure they'll deliver all the way over the hill, but nothing extraordinary. Word on the forum is that the Thai Pavilion is good stuff, but have yet to try.
Nothing to write home about for me, although Mr Liu's has been recommended by a few people but am yet to try it out - have found Chopsticks to be pretty tardy with their delivery and the food generally suffers accordingly. This said, I generally prefer a curry.
Gold Lee have really speedy delivery - their food can be a bit hit and miss though - starters are always good but I find their mains a bit gloopy. Chopsticks is better food i think, their chilli salt and pepper squid is also excellent, although sometimes when i've phoned in an order it's been an hour and a half wait for delivery, which is less than ideal. very excited though that the Thai Corner Cafe has started delivering - this may have happened a while ago and I've only just cottoned on, but I think their food's the nuts. they would get my vote.

    • Carpet can be a pain at times, the maintenance takes effort. I’ll look into that spray as a handy in-between for freshening things up. Steam cleaners are becoming more popular too and definitely seem more hygienic than a mop and bucket.
    • I've found it quite a useful thread.  Apparently protein powders are toxic. Not that I have ever, or will ever, try them.   https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/the-hidden-dangers-of-protein-powders
    • Personally can’t stand carpets however where I am renting has carpet in  bedroom and hall. Not great quality and certainly not cleaned. Was  in B & M recently and looking at carpet shampoo -wow got a can costing £2.99 to test.. No scrubbing as others seemed to imply. Spray, leave and poof - smells great, no dabbing or scrubbing and c leaving rubbish. First to admit is only temp solution but no need to hire carpet cleaner instantly  or pay for a company to come and deal with professionally. For 3/6 months happy to have used this - Have a carpet cleaner and in a month or so plan to use it.    Buy a steam cleaner for floors - not expensive - much better than mop and bucket and more hygienic all round. Can pick up second hand ones on e bay.
    • Is this a true story? What protein powder causes kidney damage? Why didn't you cite an article? I shop at H&B, mostly to buy their castor oil, however, I would recommend researching any product beforehand. They do have very informative articles on their website. To be honest, I don't see the point of this post. You could have just taken the product back for a refund or complained in store and in writing.
