It sounds very interesting! Would you mind posting some pictures, just editing the message here? Would you consider one year contract? What about the deposit? How much is council tax and who pays it? Thank you

Hello again and thanks for the prompt answer.

Unfortunately the short let term makes it not suitable for me as with a chronic disease I need to manage all my routines (work, diet, care and self-care) in a possibly relatively stable way that means I neither want to die in three months time nor to be moving house and after few weeks starting the process of looking for another accommodation and moving house again. I hope you understand that I make this comment in good faith to boost the idea of fair treatment for tenants and lodgers, not surely to argue in respect of your specific choice: landlords have the right to do whatever they want with their properties as assets but... I have a right to have a life too.

I would prefer to be a long term lodger in a house with my own bathroom.

Also, if I move into a self contained independent flat, that is surely attractive, I would rather pay Council tax directly to the Council because that means I exist for the local authority in terms of recognised housing needs and prevention of homelessness without complications due to tax issues I had no control of. I am actually on the housing register and I have received attention in the past from the local authority but I am happy to rent from the private market.

Many thanks and I wish you to find the right tenant for you, may be a young person that needs to move into their first independent home? Best of luck.
