Blood Tests

Are Blood tests still done at Dulwich Hospital or are they now done

at the New Tessa Jowell Health centre

I went to the website and was redirected to St Thomas hospital for all blood tests.

I Know Kings does blood tests but Not normally from G.P. Requested tests.

Thank you Beansprout .. I got a text from DMC about outstanding Blood Tests for my annual review

and to pick up a blood request form ?? from The DMC which is not that easy as they have no face to

face and reception is closed.

They will pass you the form through the window at DMC if you arrange to collect one. No problem.

It's a lovely bright clean centre I went there for podiatry.

DMC at Chadwick Road is more civilized. You can walk in and speak to reception.

Exchange documents.

DMC Crystal Palace Road has always been a joke. even before Covid 19

Tessa Jowell Centre for me last week - sent down there by DMC Chadwick Road with the appropriate papers as they said they're not doing blood tests at DMC at the moment. At the TJC there's a decent system in place: turn up with papers, take a ticket, and then to your room for the sample to be taken.

Went to The Tessa Jowell Health Centre this morning. Very impressed.

Nice Bright and Clean.

2 people in front of me, Waited about 6-8 minutes.

Walk in front door and Blood Tests are right in front of you.

No long dark corridors like the Old Dulwich Hospital.

I went there for the first time and wondered where the hell did this come from? Impressive building.

I was less impressed while waiting for a test to hear a maskless cleaner(?), while pushing his trolley around, conversing with the receptionist and explaining to him that covid doesn't exist and it's all a money making scam.

Sounds like that cleaner knows something we don't. I wonder how he was privvy to such valuable information that we're (certainly I am) not.

Well, I sort of agree with him that it's a money making scam, for friends of the government. While sitting there I did hear a bit of a rumpus behind me, which featured loudly the word 'mask'. The next time I saw said cleaner, he was 'wearing' a mask. It may have been under his chin, but I suppose I should be grateful for small mercies.

I went there yesterday 1pm everyone wearing masks and masks at reception to take very clean first time going there
