Andy has consistently sorted out shower leaks, bath leaks and toilet malfunctions for me over the last 3 years. He again very recently sorted out a difficult to identify shower leak thanks to his patience and hard work. Affordable and very polite. Thank you Andy!
I had been searching for plumbers and general building trades for several weeks now and using East Dulwich Forum and others. Some, like AFE plumbing, after many assurances, have let me down. Walid (07473 093 653) and his team did not disappoint. Do give them a try.

Andy is exactly what you need. (07983 688 451)

I had a leaking pipe just before Christmas and really needed it fixed promptly as I was heading away to family. I got Andy's number from here and he responded quickly. He was actually finishing another job in the area, so fitted me in immediately!

I couldn't have asked for any better response time, and he fixed the job in under an hour.

I highly recommend Andy the plumber (07983 688 451). I had a leaky washing machine which another plumber had failed to fix. Andy turned up quickly, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and made sure it was properly fixed. All for a very reasonable fee.

Hi - we can also recommend Andy. He came out at 7.30 pm on 23rd December to deal with an emergency leak in our bathroom. We had 12 people coming for Christmas (including family flying from overseas that we hadn't seen for three years because of Covid) so we were extra grateful for him picking up the phone so late in the evening just before Christmas and coming out. He also stayed late until it was done - and did a really good job!

I can also vouch for Andy. He came to plumb in new washing machine, and also attended to some other things including fixing up a new shower rail and removal of old power shower. He also recommended products to me which I found really helpful. He responded very quickly, came on very short notice and did a lovely job - would absolutely recommend.

Can also recommend another plumber Andy Burke - I have used his services for years. He also attends in a timely manner, is polite, competent and affordable. And guess what...he even has expertise working with temperamental Saniflow units !!!

I needed some help sorting out a flow issue with our unvented boiler, I found plenty of recommendations on this forum for Andy Burke 07983 688451. Andy responded immediately with really helpful advice and then came round to sort the issue for us. He's a proper old school plumber with heaps of experience and is a genuinely lovely guy who I would not hesistate to recommend. I'll definitely call on him for any future plumbing issues.

    • I'd also like to highly recommend Niko. He just replaced the extraction fan in our bathroom, having previously installed a new tap for us. Fast, professional and a really great guy.
    • Agree with this. He's stood down from his role in Cabinet having left the Party, but he was elected as a representative of all the constituents in his ward and logic suggests that he should continue to represent them as a councillor for his remaining 3 months. He might wish to stand again, as a Green, in that ward (if he's chosen) and hope that personal loyalty to him might transfer, but that's now the call of his (new) party and him. He will have to balance that with a view about how many of his Labour supporters will feel sufficiently betrayed to continue to support Labour. I suspect, I may be wrong, that he will not have a cabinet position open to him after May (unless the Greens sweep in locally) so presumably he will have to consider his next career move, and whether that's back to full-time primary teaching.
