Need someone to build garden benches out of decking

I?ve been quoted ?1000 by the people that did our decking to get some benches made which is really expensive. I?m looking for a reasonable quote for benches made out of the same decking we have used in our garden. Can anyone recommend a carpenter/landscape gardener to do this for us for a fair price?

Thanks

Er, OK. It can take 2 or more hours of someones time to come and quote and if they knew roughly what you wanted they could then decide if the job was right for them to quote for, and whether to bother without having to waste yours and their time.
Try Franco on 07417 507116. I just can't recommend him enough. He is an all round handyman, carpenter and electrician, with a problem solving attitude and always leaving the place impeccable after he has worked. Text him rather than calling him.

    • Although this sounds worrying, a "bitey" fox is unusual. I see foxes all the time where I live near Rye Lane and have never experienced this. I've even seen a fox sitting in the garden where an outdoor cat lives, whilst the cat was there - the cat was fine and is still alive. I think my flat is on a fox path because I hear and see them most nights, none of the local cats seem bothered by them. I can't help but wonder what would make the fox act in such a way, I've just read that toxoplasmosis might make them more aggressive

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
