Air quality around Goose Green

The air is unbreathable tonight, smells like a mixture of burning paper and some kind of chemical. My entire family have headaches - can anyone shed any light? And if you're the cause, please stop!

I think a lot of people have invested in those large wood burning barbecues that make a very strong smell when they get they get going and for a few hours after.

And then when it gets they go inside and light their wood burning stoves.

I've lived here over 10 years and never found I couldn't breathe outside. This is something different.

The air quality has become increasingly bad over the past 5 years {I guess as the demographic has changed}. But there's a definite hot spot around North Cross Road, the block The Actress is on, but not from The Actress & also across from The Actress on Upland Rd {seen it billowing over the gates}.

It's often so bad I have to hold my breath or I find myself choking. Leaves me pretty furious.

We walked from Forest Hill to Dog Kennel Hill Sainsbury's yesterday evening. The smell of woodsmoke was very noticeable around Goose Green and the station.

Add to that the road closures which has pushed all the traffic onto Lordship Lane, the air pollution is horrendous.
