Great Plumber recommendation

I?d just like to post to recommend Rob Mills of All Aspects Plumbing ‭(07952 584171‬) after finding him on here and using him to fit my kitchen sink (which included lots of work to amend the foul pipes) and fitting my washing machine and dishwasher.

Rob?s service was second to none, friendly, knowledgeable and he worked to find solutions rather than problems, something I?ve found that so many other tradesmen don?t do! The job turned from a straightforward one into a relatively complex one when it turned out that my existing foul pipes were set far too high and all needed amending to allow the sink to drain. It later became clear that the existing set up was inadequate for the washing machine, so Rob set to making everything work for the new kitchen layout. Rob was really helpful, and I?ve been very happy with the solution he put in place.

I ended up having a problem with my dishwasher (not Rob?s fault), and after dropping him a text on a weekend, he happily took the time to ring me and talk me through some simple checks I could do to identify the problem, something he didn?t have to do really.

His rates are also very fair, and I wish I?d found him sooner. I have a couple of other jobs that I?ll be sending his way once I?m ready.

Thanks Rob!

Nick

Another recommendation for Rob.. he came at short notice and gave us informative and honest feedback about our options. He completed the job two days later to a great standard. Glad to have finally found a plumber who is both honest and reliable.

Adding a recommendation for Rob Mills. Not only does he do a great job and is prompt and reliable, but he's also honest enough to advise another course of action if that's best.

He recently came to look at a blocked drain issue and ended up sending me to another tradesperson to resolve, which I greatly appreciated. He's top of my list to call next time I need a plumber.

    • Hello, apologies for radio silence. Thanks for the insight, some useful elements here, and I've even had some 'very' interesting direct messages, so I'm glad I posted. Regarding the comments, I'm quite aware that my budget is probably flirting with houses in the village but I'm not really keen to go any further SE than the bottom end of Lordship, and ideally to the West of it. Reasons are not pure snobbery, most of my mates/family etc all live out SW, it already is 20 minutes further away from all of that by looking at the Village sort of area.  Have looked at a few things since this post, and the good news mostly is that almost everywhere we've been (mostly around WD and a couple in DV itself) is MUCH more inline with what we're looking for than where we are in terms of neighbourhood. One issue I've identified with WD however is that its a bit of a blackspot for decent London parks on foot. But interesting discussion for sure.
    • The £2bn set aside for walking and cycling is a total, national budget over 5 years. It's about 1.5% of the transport budget and I'd be surprised if it covers much more than maintenance. a lot of it is allocated to London - outside the capital very, very little has been done to improve cycling infrastructure, which is probably why increases in active travel have been modest elsewhere. The article you've linked to suggests that London should be used as a model for other cities. Again, there has been a 20% increase in cycling across London since 2019 which now accounts for the equivalent of around a third of all tube journeys, or a quarter of bus journeys respectively.
    • I passed my test with Nick from Nicholas Driving Acadamy 15 months ago first time at Sevenoaks.    Because I haven’t driven much since passing I have gone back to Nick to help me with motorway and rural driving which Nick is really good at.   I would recommend anyone who is an anxious or want to learn to drive, Nick is great with any age group.    You can contact him via the following contact number; 07956221706 Just a mention Nick only works part time.
    • Two of my neighbours 50yds apart reported an orange ball coming right at them. One is quite PTSDd by it still.
