M and E
Don't give all the good spots away! Sheesh. It's too early to pick them anyway. Wait for the first frost. geh
used to always pick them at......(!) tbh not sure it's practical to wait for first frost in London, they come so late and the birds seem to make a lot of slow gin too. I pick when "dusty" (bloomed?)and pop them in the freezer for a week or so. got a few bottles dating back 10 year plus sitting there waiting for the right shooting party!!!
