From Friday 16th November I?m pleased to announce I will be running weekly Baby Yoga classes at The Old Nun?s Head Pub, Nunhead Green, Nunhead, SE15 3QQ

Baby Yoga is a fun class beginning with some warm up massage strokes (fully clothed) lots of songs & rhymes coordinated with movements, soft stretching & relaxation. Movement positions include laying, seated, standing and lifts.

The tactile and sensory stimulation which takes place during a class helps to contribute to the development of the baby's brain and the nervous system and as with baby massage, baby yoga is a lovely opportunity to enhance communication with your baby, gain confidence in handling your baby, additional digestive benefits and encourage your baby to sleep deeper.

Suitable from around 12-14 weeks.

Weekly classes take place on Friday?s at 2.10pm, run for 45 minutes and costs ?3 for first session and ?6 thereafter.

Dates for 2012 - Friday 16th, 30th November and 7th, 14th, 21st December

If you are interested in coming along, spaces are limited, so reserving your space is advisable to avoid disappointment.

For more information please visit my website http://www.babistic.co.uk/baby-yoga/venue-costs-and-dates/ call 07799 032191 or email [email protected]

There are also other venues if this day doesn?t suit.

Thanks,

Samantha Chater

    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
