Now clear and open: Anyone know how long end of Avondale Rise closed?

When approaching the Copleston Rd end you can't exit Avondale at the end. No diversion signs and it's a very long way around!

Hi, if you mean onto Ivanhoe - it is closed due to a burst waterpipe. It has been closed since Yesterday (Monday), hopefully not very long.

Does anyone know if the P13 is running from Bellenden Road straight thru to Sainsbury's back on its normal route yet.

P13 still on diversion. No work being done on the site this morning and temp traffic lights been turned off since yesterday

The 'road closed' signs are still up but people have moved the cones blocking the part of the road that isnt being worked on and driving through.

If it is possible to move a few cones and the traffic flows without problems why is it necessary to stop the only community bus from using the same route.

It is always the P13 that seems to be diverted and Southwark Council wonder why people use their cars as there is no other way to move around.

Do they want more cars on the road to try and confirm what they want people to believe although it is not true..

Many of the older generation are now stuck in the local area due to no P13 together with no buses that operate from Rye Lane due to the closure of that road without a long walk to find a bus.

AS of a couple of hours ago the hole had been filled in and people had moved the cones aside and driving through in both directions. Take care though as some of the signs and triffic light equipment is sill up.

For the question earlier re P13, I saw the hole was in middle of the road so the bus wouldn't have had space to turn in.

According to the TFL website there does not seem to be any problems posted.

There were yesterday.Does this mean the P13 id operating?

The road is open as stated above but diversion notices are still fixed to the stops for the P13. Completely unscientific, I realise, but I have yet to see a P13 come through today on the few times I have walked up and down the road.

I got the P13 from Bellenden Village to Whately Road today but they did announce diversions from there. No idea what they were.
