Cleaner recommendation..!

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This is a follow up to a previous recommendation as Barbara now has time to take on some additional work.

Currently, she's looking for one-off 'end of tenancy', or spring (autumn) cleaning jobs, rather than long term weekly cleans.

I still recommend her, given that she will happily tell people off for wearing shoes where they aren't supposed to (it was a plumber who thought that the clean areas didn't relate to him)

He soon changed his ways :)

Barbara is happy to provide additional letters of recommendation to interested employers.

She has also asked that we let the forum know her rates and contact number:

?15 per hour but will quote directly for one-off jobs.

Thanks

Steve

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
