Cat flap installation

Hi all,

We are looking for a local handy man to install a car flap for us in a wooden two panel door that goes out to our garden.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

We used Phil from Four Paws Doors http://www.fourpawsdoors.co.uk

He's in Croydon, but covers our area.

He did it 2016, and the door still looks great and doesn't leak or have any other problems.

We actually got in touch with him, but his quote was around ?120 just for fitting. Seemed quite high for a simple fitting in a wooden door, but wasn't really sure what the going rate was for this sort of thing.

Ah, OK. Ours was a bit more than that as it was a double-glazed glass door, and we asked him to replace the glass as the original glass was not to our taste.

I didn't keep any of our other quotes, so can't tell you what the comparisons were.

Phil was also recommended to us, so we were happy to go with him.
