transparency / correcting the information imbalance

So after lots of googling over the past week to try and get myself up to speed on the workings of local government: does anyone else think it would be useful to have a separate thread, without expressions of views/ debate, but just links to key documents / useful websites / notification of upcoming council decisions, meetings and TMOs, flagging up affected roads and times for comments etc?

I am happy to start one off if anyone thinks it might be useful. I'm no expert (but that might be a good thing in this context.)

Superb idea - often the council moves documents on their website so will be good to keep track of where everything is so anyone can access it.
