Fusion leisure - lack of two minutes silence on 11/11

Should I get exciting that Fusion Leisure appear to have a corpoarte policy about not anouncing the two mins silence? I've tried raising this with the Corporately but only have a web based system for electronic contact that simply wants to enlist me as a member and send me spam. I've e-mailed Croydon Council (I was at Thornton Heath) and understand that they run Forest Hill, East Dulwich and no doubt many other centres around here on behalf of the boroughs.

I could debate poppies, silences etc - this is a personal choice. But at least remind people should they wish to observe this.

A simple go for it vs get a life response will do.

Shouldn't be that hard to announce it - Kings College Hospital managed it over a far larger building(s). Upto the individual then whether they observe it.

Sainsbury's on Sunday morning at 11 was priceless especially since that is the time they open the tills. Everyone stood still and silent for 2 minutes except for a couple of ankle-biters.

Perhaps the patrons could have kept an eye on their watches if they felt the need to observe the silence.

I was stalled out at a record fair on that sunday, and the promoter quite rightly asked at 11 am that we all observe the minutes, all music was switched off and all the customers observed it to a man/woman.
