KidKruger
Should be OK.I think it only becomes a problem when your trying to service like 3 bathrooms.Combo technology is well tried and tested and improved over recent years, choose a good make and should last a couple of decades at least. diable rouge
The only downside of a Combi I can think of is when using a shower and someone else runs a tap, say in the kitchen or even if a washing machine or dishwasher draws some water, you then get a sudden drop in pressure and water temp drops. As KK says, not ideal for a busy, multi-bathroom house but good for flats or small occupancy houses... Otto2
We have the latest Worcester Bosch Greenstar lifestyle combi boiler -- there is a small pressure drop when someone starts a second shower or a tap on full but then, it equalises. Sometimes have to adjust temperature but it easily handles that. https://www.worcester-bosch.co.uk/products/boilers/lifestyle Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/267699-combi-boilers-with-good-shower-flow/#findComment-1462892 Share on other sites

B+
Thank you for your replies, the more I research boilers the more questions and problems I seem to find!I will have to keep my 34 year old boiler going a bit longer until I can make my mind up. Good if children around obviously.Personally I'd prefer the bath taps had no control but the shower did (this would be considered a scald danger though) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/267699-combi-boilers-with-good-shower-flow/#findComment-1463075 Share on other sites

Good if children around obviously.Your Combi may have a max temp for heating the water, which can be adjusted, your user manual should tell if you have this facility and how to change it if it's been set too low for your tastes...
