Emergency Services down Friern Road

We've just had 6 fire engines, 2 police vans, 2 police cars, 3 unmarked police cars and an ambulance all head down Friern Road from the Lordship Lane end. Made a right racket for the last 20 mins.

Anyone any idea what's going on?

Sadly this was a fatal fire.

Yesterday the London Fire Brigade was called at 4.55 to 5 Norcroft Gardens. An 81 yesar old lady was rescued from the first floor and taken to King's College Hospital. Sadly her serious condition was such that she has sinced passed away.

Very sad.

its was my wife's nan and she is ok but very upset as the recent news, and none seems to know how the sad news spread so fast before the family have even come to terms with the loss,
