Hi. Am thinking of starting a men's self-help group, what with all my experience of my male friends' problems. Not only to do with women's issues, but also men's experience of having to work as sole breadwinner in this economic crisis. Any takers?

I'm offering a safe place to offload your issues. Maybe ?10 an hour?

Do pm me.

Hmm, I think you are being a bit sarky, but I'll bite.

As I said in the Movember thread, Australia has just has such a better track record of men's health issues. I just wish some of the other stuff going on over there could make it to the UK, like Mensline (depression, relationship issues, etc) and the Men's Sheds movement (general health and wellbeing for older men).

In the UK, you get the feeling that men's health and other issues are considered something that should not be discussed.

    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
