Anyone else noticed the old Blue SAAB which seems to be moved around the area and is parked for years on end? It was parked on Village Way for around 3 years until they brought in the CPZ and was moved to East Dulwich Grove for another few years until that CPZ came in.

Today I saw it on Rosendale Road parked in the middle of a new cycle lane so expect it will soon move again! Shame as it is a bit of a classic but has been left to deteriorate over the years. Others have noticed it too, see the link below from when it was on East Dulwich Grove

Nope but there is a classic Jag and a Ford Consul disguised as a NY taxi on the pavement by Moor Park/Wood Vale rusting away.

The Saab is taxed but not MOTd - it is not quite exempt but that is someone else's business. I was gifted a slighly older Saab which was a non-runner but could have been sorted. We parked it in a quiet street in Liverpool but never saw it again. If you don't register your vehicle as stolen with DVLA it stays in the system so I check from time to time whether any of my three stolen vehicles turn up. I expect they were broken for parts many years ago.

These are not 'on the pavement' but on a part of the frontage which belongs to the property in front of which they are parked. Elsewhere on that stretch you will see that 'owned' part fenced off. Not mine, but I know whose they are.

    • tried the traditional beef empanada yesterday and it was amazing honestly, hotter and better than the other place (no offence!). I really don’t see the issue with having more than one of the same type of shop – we’ve got Indian restaurants, two supermarkets, two cheese shops, two pizza joints, even two paint shops! So I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Good food is good food, and there’s room for everyone.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
