Personal trainers on the rye

Recommended Posts

i understand that the gyms are closed again and I take pleasure at the ingenious straps and pulleys attached to trees to help people train outdoors. However, this morning one trainer had set a bench press on the narrow path between the fields and was encouraging his client to complete sets of free weights requiring other park users to accommodate the obstruction. No room left for a wheelchair or mobility scooter to pass. What are the park regulations on personal trainers rights to use the rye? It was a shame to see a lack of common sense and consideration for others so blatantly in operation.

If someone?s in the way you can just say? It may seem inconsiderate but trainers are under a lot of stress. Many of them were unable to work for months of this year and as self employed people are unable to access the furlough scheme. I can see how a person under stress might just be thinking of how best to train their client and forgetting the needs of other park users. I bet a friendly reminder rather than a demand for registration details would suffice. These times are hard for everyone :-)

I know a self-employed dance teacher....she is doing her classes on line with no problems and some of her pupils are disabled

I also know a self-employed music teacher- also operating on line....
