Hi, we need to get a new oven and are looking at the Ikea line. Unfortunately its hard to find online reviews of their products and the oven we like isn't available at Croydon so we'd have to buy sight unseen.

Does anyone have the Ikea Framtid OV10? If so are you happy with it?

We could also go with good old John Lewis. We went to their strafford store but many ovens weren't hooked up. Its a long shot but if anyone has the JLBIOS612 are you happy with the child lock features? as they arent described in the features list.

Thanks in advance,

karen

Hi,

Not sure if this helps at all...

We bought our oven from ikea about 3 years ago and am not sure if it is a Nutid or Framtid. The child lock is good, however I feel it takes a long time to heat up. It can also get a bit hot from the outside, although not hot enough for a child to get burnt. If I was to choose today between ikea or John Lewis, I would definitely go for John Lewis.

    • They are. We are back to the same construction racket 8am-8pm every day for the whole of this week. The wall is one of the last things to come down, probably on Saturday. Then we can see how much of a mess they've made, especially the quantity of non-biodegradeable litter trampled into the earth. GALA 2025 - Production Schedule.pdf
