sbarry
There is a supplementary form for St Anthony's primary school, which is not surprising given it's a Catholic school.I'm trying to figure out if there is any point putting this school on my top list of 6 schools on the CAF, given I will not be ticking yes to any of the boxes relating to religion - except that one of the parents was raised as a catholic.Do St Anthony's ever admit children who are not being raised in a formal religion? Pickle
Unless you live right beside the school I think it's pretty slim. We had it at the bottom of our list (simply to fill in spaces) and were sent the supplementary form, on the basis of that I was a bit embarrassed to have listed it - I may as well just have written N/A in bright red pen right over the first page :-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27048-primary-school-application-question-on-st-anthonys/#findComment-596313 Share on other sites
sbarry
Thanks Pickle, yes i think our chances are nil.Incidentally I'm finding the schools finder on the directgov website to be quite good (everyone probably already knows about this, I'm a bit late to the game!) as it gives you your nearest schools by distance from your postcode plus links to Ofsted etc.http://schoolsfinder.direct.gov.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/27048-primary-school-application-question-on-st-anthonys/#findComment-596314 Share on other sites
rachel83
In addition to the supplementary form, you also have to meet the priest for a written reference to support your application. The dates for this have now passed so I think it would be a wasted choice of school listing this on the CAF.
