Carol concerts for families

Just wondered if anyone knows of any carol concerts that are toddler friendly i.e. are on during the daytime. I think my toddler would really enjoy it but the only ones I can seem to find start around 7-7.30pm, which is bedtime.

I don't know if its classed as a carol concert, but the horniman has a Christmas do next weekend and there's carol singing on the bandstand there at various times, info on their website.

St Augustine's on One Tree Hill has Carols by Candlelight at 4pm on 16 December. They are usually very child friendly there.

Thanks, emza78, that's just the sort of thing I was looking for. However, we have a birthday party to go to that afternoon so may not make it back in time.

Anymore suggestions welcome, it doesn't have to be a concert per se, in fact the less formal the better!

The Goose Green Primary School Choir will be doing an outdoors 'Carols by Candelight' on the Goose Green (on the bit opposite the roundabout 7 EDT) on Friday December 14th from 6pmish. Everyone welcome to join in - young&old!

I believe there is a family day at St Pauls Cathedral....somewhere around the 16th or so of December.

Goose Green Primary School Carol Singing evening

Friday 14th December 2012 at 6:15pm Goose Green (Opposite to the East Dulwich Tavern)

Join us on our first evening of carolling lead by both our student and parent/staff choirs, supported and accompanied by members of the Nunhead Salvation Army Brass Band. Mulled wine, hot chocolate and mince pies will be avalible from members of the PTA throughout the event. To kick-start your Christmas join us on the green with a lantern or torch and wrap up warm!!

The Horniman is doing a carol concert in the bandstand as part of the Xmas Fayre this weekend. It's on Sun 5pm and there is lots more Xmas activities, Xmas market, Santas Grotto etc going on all weekend.

Ivydale School Christmas Fair and Market on Saturday 8th will have members of the Nunhead Choir joining us for Carols around the Christmas tree at 3.15. Participation welcome but not mandatory!!

The Fair runs from 1-4pm - lots going on in addition to Carols. Do join us!

Find your local CofE church, look at their website, and at least one Sunday morning service between now and Christmas will be a family carol service, usually with a fun story/activity for families.
