I wonder if anybody could recommend a builder to help with a number of jobs I need during my kitchen renovation? They would need to be available in late jan / feb 2021.

I already have a company fitting the new kitchen (joinery) but require the following:

1. Complete Removal of old kitchen (and disposal) including all appliances, tiles, cabinets etc and all the flooring (wood) from another room and hallway.

2. Indicative list of other items from joinery company:

- 1st and 2nd fix plumbing to suit the kitchen design

- 1st and 2nd fix electric to suit the kitchen design

- Cutting out a groove in the walls for the stone shelf including making good once the stone work is installed by the supplier. May include getting permission for one party wall.

- Re-positioning / adding / removing ceiling spotlights.

- (If required) chasing up new fire retardant ducting for extractor

- painting walls / making good once cabinets are fitted. Skirting boards

I?m based in peckham rye SE15 area so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks :)

Hi, I can recommend Franco, an electrician and handyman who is a proper jack of all trades. Not sure he can do all the things in your list, but for sure all the electrical and spotlights, as well as painting and removing the old kitchen.

Text him on 07417 507116 and see what he says. Good luck!

You could try Tony Dean his mobile 078516390982 email [email protected] of T.Dean Building Contractors he and his colleague have just finished fitting our Kitchen and they were excellent. I found them via TrustATrader and I totally recommend for the work we needed doing to fit our Howdens Kitchen. Punctual and finished on time quality refit.
