is the new lumia on windows phone?

HAven't seen it in the flesh yet but I suspect it'll be a player as a smart phone os, and the 920 gets excellent reviews.

I may be tempted to switch on my next upgrade.

Yes its on Windows phone 8 I Think. Ive got 7. There isnt even a backup application. F***ing Microsoft!

No dedicated Google Map appfor iPad though...boooooo Will use the iphone version and can now update to newer OS!!
